The Marian Tweens and Teens (MT&T) are a youth group who come together to seek and share the guidance of the Blessed Mother Mary in the context of our lives. The group was organized in October, 2016 by members of Our Lady of Grace Sodality. Our objective is to embrace and practice the virtues of the Blessed Mother.
The group consists of female and male youth of the Catholic faith and are guided by the Sodality's Marian Tweens and Teens Planning Committee. The Marian Tweens and Teens (MT&T) meet monthly for prayer, instruction, faith-sharing, loving fellowship, group projects, fun and refreshments. Recently, our group has welcomed several younger members, too, who are interested in learning the virtues of our Blessed Mother.
Instruction is provided by the Sodality's MT&T Planning Committee. We have also enjoyed special guest presenters. We meet monthly in St. Joseph's Rosemont Room, 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., on the third Saturday of September through November, and February through May.
The group also assists in the preparations and presentation of the MT&T charitable and outreach events. They may also provide support to the Sodality activities. New Catholic youths are always welcome in the Marian Tweens and Teens, with parent or guardian permission. They may join at any 3rd Saturday get-together. These members are formally inducted into the group by the Pastor at the annual May Day mass. Parents are needed to support the MT&T members and are welcome to attend meetings and events.
