The Good Samaritan Ministry, is dedicated to meeting the spiritual needs of Parishioners and those in need of temporary assistance because they are elderly, sick, shut-in or temporarily in crisis.
The Good Samaritan Ministry seeks opportunities to support the needs of the church community as well as the community at large through sponsoring special projects such as school supply and clothing drives, and participating in annual community organized projects like the Christmas in April Program, DC Diaper Drive and the Angel Project.
When you are in need of short-term spiritual assistance due to illness or a temporary crisis, members of the Good Samaritans Ministry may be able to help. The Good Samaritans in some cases can assist you with meals, provide transportation to a medical appointment, visit the sick, elderly and homebound and provide spiritual encouragement and prayer.
