This ministry complements and extends the ministry of the clergy. It recruits, trains and schedules ministers to assist the celebrant in distributing the Eucharist at Mass and to those unable to attend church.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS 

(Adults and teens) 

DESCRIPTION: Assist with distributing the Eucharist at Mass, and taking the Eucharist and prayer to the homebound.

TIME: Normal schedule is one or two weekend Masses per month.

COMMUNION FOR THE HOMEBOUND AND HOSPITALIZED 

(Adults) 

DESCRIPTION: An invitation to serve communion to the home-bound and hospitalized. Requirements: Must be an Extraordinary Minister of Communion and be able to take communion on an as need basis. Prayerfully consider becoming part of this important ministry.
